Greetings from the fair office, hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July. Wow! Where has time gone? It’s almost time for the fair! This year’s fair theme is "Overall Good Times." Hope everyone is busy getting entries ready. We have two fair princesses: Madeira Wynn and Genevieve Fleming. The girls have fair passes for sale and will be at Bald Eagle's Day.

This Saturday July 13 is the Flea Market at the fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., so come on down to the fairgrounds and find yourself a treasure or two. When you’re done at the flea market run over to the arena and check out the Silver Buckle.

The Fair Foundation is only nine days away from the "Challenge Of Champions” coming back to town. Last year seating was a problem; this year the fair has seven new sets of bleachers that seat 100 people each. If you haven't purchased your tickets yet you can do so at the Duck Inn in Skamokawa, Bob's in Longview, Johnson One Stop in Naselle and The Pizza Mill in Cathlamet. The gates will open at 4:30; hope to see everyone!
