Hunter education course set

A Hunter Education Course will be held:

· Sept. 7 -- 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

· Sept. 11 -- 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

· Sept. 12 -- 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The course will be taught by Jerry Bain at the Cathlamet Fire Department in the DeBriae Room.

This is a traditional course that is designed for new or experienced hunters. The course includes handling firearms safely, conservation, sportsmanship, and live fire training.

All students must pre-register at WDFW-hunting-hunter ed-traditional course.

Anyone born after Jan. 1, 1972, that wishes to purchase a hunting license in Washington State must take and pass a Hunter Education Course.
