Wahkiakum County Port 1 held a rate and budget workshop on Tuesday afternoon to go over proposed changes and discuss possible policies regarding cancellations.
The biggest proposed change was for the barbecue RV sites, which were $395 per month this year, but could go up to $650. Seasonal monthly RV has been $410, but could go up to $500.
“We’re still cheap,” Commissioner Brett Deaton said of all the proposed changes.
“You still have more time to think about it,” Counsel Tim Hanigan said.
They continued to talk about how to respond to yacht club cancellations, but nothing was decided.
The proposed budget for 2021 is $937,201, with $25,951 in capital outlay.
