What's happening at the Fair?

Greetings from the fair office. Fair Books should be out soon. The fair royalty will be kicking off soon and they will be out selling Fair Passes and Raffle tickets. I will know what the raffle is next week. Don't forget to stop by the farmers market and flea market on Tuesdays from 4-7 there are lots of good things to buy. My personal favorite: fresh strawberries. If you need to talk to someone or pick up entry tags I will be in the office on Tuesdays from 3-7 p.m. Otherwise call and we will set up an appointment.

I will be contacting vendors and entertainers this week. If you are interested in either please call the office and leave me a message, (360)795-3480.

Wow! It is almost time for the "Challenge of Champions.” With the new bleachers there are 700 seats. We also set up a VIP section that seats 100 and for all you rowdy people we have the beer garden. They will be selling hamburgers, cheeseburgers, fries, hot dogs, Polish dogs, nachos, ice cream and more. So get your tickets at one of the following places: Bob's in Longview, Johnson's One Stop in Naselle, The Duck Inn in Skamokawa or Maria's in Cathlamet. Tickets are $20, presale $15, kids 5 and under are free and gates open at 4. So come early, get a great seat and grab dinner. A huge thank you to all the sponsors and the Fair Foundation Board for bringing such a wonderful event to our small town. Remember, folks this is in your back yard. Also the fair royalty will be around for the purchase of fair passes and raffle tickets.
