Wahkiakum County Health and Human Services is hosting an online workshop to show parents and guardians how to spot signs of risky behavior in a teenager's bedroom.
The workshop, VIRTUAL HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT, will be presented online via the Zoom platform, on Tuesday, May 3, 4-6 p.m. Wahkiakum Residents are invited to join 3:30-6 p.m. for information about how you can help support the Wahkiakum Community Network Coalition and their efforts in helping keep our youth and families safe.
Join Tall Cop Jermaine Galloway for a virtual training to learn indicators of potential teen drug use, mental health concerns, unhealthy relationships, human trafficking and other risk factors that may be hidden in plain sight, but easy for parents and other adults to miss.
A mock teen bedroom contains 70+ items, which can indicate problem or risky behaviors. After a virtual walk through of the teen room, attendees will participate in a presentation and discussion.
