What's happening at the Fair?

Greetings from the fair office. Saturday is the big Mud Wrestling Extravaganza. Gates open at 2 p.m. and wrestling starts at 4 p.m. Food will be served and there will be a beer garden. All funds from this event are going to make a better game area at the fair for the kids. Also the fair has both a bouncy house and carnival ride for fair this year. So come on out and have some fun and help the kids area at fair. Cost to get in is only $3. I hope to see everyone there.

A huge thank you to Tom Langston, Shelley Gilbert, Daria Lacey, Joe Blalock and his wonderful family who came out and helped get the fairgrounds ready for its upcoming events with you. It wouldn't look as wonderful as it does.

Also on this Saturday at noon if you are interested in running for fair royalty I would like to meet with you at noon to get you going. Remember this year we have a Junior Court and a Senior Court. The fair raffle this year will have a grand prize of a one night stay at the Chinook Winds Casino. So watch for these tickets to go on sale after the first of June.

The “Cruzin to the Fair Car Show" is coming fast. Pre-registrations are due on May 27 and we will take entries the day of the show. A huge thank you to the Chamber of Commerce, Astoria Ford, Cathlamet Realty and Art's Automotive. Trophies will be given in all classes this year. Hope to see everyone there. Have a great week.
