Two Mule golfers compete at state tourney

Two Wahkiakum High School golfers qualified for the 1B/2B state tournament, which was played at the Deer Park Golf Club in Deer Park last week.
Avery Wiltse-Hiatt finished in a triple tie for ninth in girls' competition. She shot a 99 the first day and a 102 on the second day for a total of 201.
Her teammate, Kyler Sause, shot a 96 on the first day of boy's competition and did not make the cut for the second day.
