Richard D Anderson, 91, of Puget Island, died July 31, 2022 in Longview. Dick was born April 1, 1931 in Boise, Idaho to August and Inez (Phillips) Anderson. He grew up in Emmett Idaho and spent most of his adult life working as an electrician. He worked the last years at Crown Zellerbach Wauna Mill before retirement. He moved to Cathlamet in the early 1980s and enjoyed life on Puget Island.

After the passing of his first wife Ruth, he married Shirley Larson on February 21, 1998. He was a longtime member of the Masonic lodge and Puget Island Grange.

He is survived by his wife Shirley, three children, Tom Muhollen, David Larson and Becky Lloyd; many grand and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dick was preceded in death by Ruth in 1989, a son Mike Barrett and two brothers.

A memorial service is pending in Idaho. Dowling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
