Astoria Brewing Company to host writers meet and greet

A writers meet and greet, with Bunny Keterman, will be held Tuesday, March 14, 6:30-8 p.m., at the Astoria Brewing Company, 144 11th Street, Astoria.

This is a free event, no registration needed. You do not need to be a member of the Guild.

Your host, Bunny, will start the evening by facilitating introductions. Bunny is a local writer and Writer’s Guild board member; she is a humorist, and mental health educator and advocate. She is the author of the website and blog, The Absurdess.com, a collection of the funny, heart-felt stories from her life, her career as a social service provider, and about her experience with PTSD, as well as a collection of tools and resources for those who want to move toward thriving while living with mental health issues.

The Writer’s Guild is a 501(c)3 nonprofit supporting the writing community of Astoria and the Lower Columbia, while fostering the unique literary arts in the region. The Guild hosts workshops, retreats, author events, writing groups, open mics and River Writers on KMUN Coast Community Radio. The Guild promotes literacy in area schools and with at-risk populations through residency and workshop programming. New members are always welcome.
