Greetings from the fair office! Wow it’s time for the Flea Market again; March 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. We still have a couple tables available if anyone is interested. Call the office (360)795-3480. Also we will have the sale open in the T-Building with a lot of new stuff added from an Estate Sale. So come on down and grab yourself a treasure or two.
The Smoke on the Water Music Fest game show night at the fairgrounds will be held March 25. For more information call the office.
April will be a busy month with the flea market, Easter Egg Hunts and the Carnival all happening on April 8. Flea market will open at 9 a.m., the Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt is at 11 a.m., and the Easter Carnival starts at 11 a.m. The Wahkiakum Fair Foundation Easter Egg Hunt will take place at 1 p.m. On Friday April 7 the fair will hold its Easter Bingo; doors open at 6 p.m., and the cost is only $15 for your cards which play 20 games. We will have the prize table with lots of great prizes and also a 50/50 split the pot. So make sure you mark your calendars for that busy weekend.
It’s time to start thinking about the Cruzin to the Fair Car Show. We will mail entry forms to people who have entered in the past so watch your mail and get pre-registered. The first 100 cars get a goodie bag. If you don’t receive one but would like one contact the office by phone (360)795-3480 or email wahkiakumfair@gmail.com and we will get you one.
This year’s fair theme is “Stirrup Some Fun.”
