Last Wednesday, the Wahkiakum and Adna high school golf teams were hosted by Kalama at the Longview County Club. Brodie Avalon led the Wahkiakum boys with a 43, followed by Sebastian Britt, 46, Zakk Carlson, 59, and Harley Popp, 65. Adna beat out Wahkiakum to hand the Mules their second loss of the season (168-213). Kalama's only two boy golfers totaled 96 but did not qualify for a team score.

The Wahkiakum girls were unopposed and did not have enough golfers to qualify as a team. Avrey Wiltse-Hiatt led the girls with a 45, followed by Brie Cothren, 59, and Jessie Lefever, 64.
