Corrections/Clarifications

In last week’s edition it was reported that Wahkiakum County commissioners approved the payment/expense of $557,475 for the annual 911 contract. Actually, the commissioners approved the contract for reimbursable revenue up to $557,475 to the county for 911 expenses from the state. The county will receive, not send a payment. Just to be clear; they are receiving revenue, not paying those funds to the state.
