The Writers Guild announces a call for proposals for the October 18-20, 2024 Astoria Writing Festival featuring Karl Marlantes. The theme of the Festival is The Power of Place. The Writers Guild is seeking proposals for workshops and presentations.

Workshops: 1-2 facilitators; highly interactive with a focus on audience participation and writing. 60-90 minutes.

Presentations: 20, 30, or 60 minutes. Focused on information connected with the theme.
