Deputy Auditor II - Licensing and Recording

This position is responsible for providing advanced-level support in vehicle and vessel licensing, titling, and document recording. Duties include assisting customers with licensing and recording transactions, supporting the office supervisor, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and county licensing laws. The role also serves as a liaison to other licensing and recording staff within the department and may perform lead functions as needed.

Wage and Benefits: This is a 35-hour / week AFSCME Local 1557 union position. Wage is set at $4022.48 monthly at pay class 7/Step 1 with benefits including medical, dental, and vision.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Two years of general accounting experience. Ability to utilize a personal computer and applicable software to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
