Deputy Auditor II - Office Coordinator/Accounts Payable

This position will primarily focus on Accounts Payable functions. Responsibilities include auditing vendor payment claims, issuing warrants, creating and maintaining vendor accounts in the financial system, and tracking 1099 information for reporting purposes. Additional duties may involve ordering office supplies, maintaining archive lists in accordance with retention schedules, tracking county assets, and performing other clerical tasks as assigned.

Wage and Benefits: This is a 35-hour / week AFSCME Local 1557 union position. Wage is set at $4022.48 monthly at pay class 7/Step 1 with benefits including medical, dental, and vision.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Two years of general accounting experience. Ability to utilize a personal computer and applicable software to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
