NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED SALE OF COUNTY PROPERTY – MEDICAL CLINIC

Proposed Sale of the Cathlamet Clinic Property, located at 355 Una Street in Cathlamet

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of Wahkiakum County, Washington, will hold a public hearing commencing: Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the Commissioners Public Meeting Room, 3rd floor, Wahkiakum County Courthouse, 64 Main Street, Cathlamet, Washington; for the purpose of:

Determining whether it is in the best interest of the county to sell the Cathlamet Clinic property, located at 355 Una Street in Cathlamet, PID #3927. The county is proposing to sell the clinic property to the Cowlitz Family Health Center, per RCWC 2.45.070(B)(2)(f) that allows a public-private partnership to contribute to a public cause to better serve Wahkiakum County. The proposed sale will include an option to repurchase the property if the owner ceases to be in the business of offering one or more of a range of health care services at the property, including any of the following: medical health and wellness, dental care, behavioral health services, medication management and pharmacy.
