Notice of Term Expiration / Vacancies

The Wahkiakum County Noxious Weed Control Board will be accepting applications from anyone interested in serving on the County Noxious Weed Control Board. Appointment will be conducted according to R.C.W. 17.10.050. The positions for which applications will be accepted and reviewed are as follows:

Weed District No. 1: Deep River area

Weed District No. 5: Puget Island

This is a volunteer 4-year position which is appointed by the Board of County Commissioners to oversee the Noxious Weed Control Programs.

All applications must be submitted by 3 p.m. October 30, 2025.

A public hearing will be held at 11 a.m., November 3, 2025, prior to the regular board meeting. On this day, the Noxious Weed Board will review applications and make a recommendation for appointments.

Terms begin January, 2026.
