On Friday, Oct. 31, the annual Quincy Grange Carnival takes place in Clatskanie. Join the fun as there will be carnival games (and prizes), a cakewalk, and Bingo. It's the perfect evening for a rainy October day. Thanks to the ladies of the Grange, food is available for purchase. Another fun Halloween kid's event is the annual "Nightmare on Nehalem Street." Trick or Treat and Halloween activities will be taking place in the parking lot at Big Guy. The event will run from 3-6 p.m. and is located at 178 N Nehalem St. For more info, call 503-728-4113.
Be sure to stop by the haunted house on 5th Street. This is a local favorite. Wander through and be devilishly delighted by all your classic favorites. Jason, Freddy and Chucky will all be there! The "Haunted Trick or Treat" runs from 5-9 p.m. and is located at 865 NE 5th Street.
On Saturday night, Nov. 1, don't miss "The Zombie Prom." This is Big Guy's annual costume party event and it offers food and drink specials, spooktacular cocktails, a photo booth, costume contest, and the crowning of a "zombie king and queen."
