CIRCULATION GROWTH. Recently the Washington State Library released its annual report. In the category, Highest Circulation per Capita, Cathlamet library has the fifth highest circulation in the state, four places ahead of Seattle Public library. Again, a big thank you goes out to each of you.
WESTEND DELIVERY. Thursdays, 2 – 3 p.m., Rosburg Fire Station. Patrons who place a book, DVD, or pass on hold receive two Cottage chocolate-chip cookies at the delivery.
STORY TIME. Wednesdays from 10:30 – 11 a.m. in the Pioneer Community Center lower room we will be having our weekly story time. Please call or visit if you have any questions.
NEW PASSES. We now have Clatsop County Historical Society passes. This pass allows you to visit the Flavel House Museum, Oregon Film Museum, and Heritage Museum in Astoria for free. We also have the Discover and Columbia River Maritime Museum passes available. Reserve your pass, one per family.

AUTHOR TALK. On Saturday, Oct. 25 at 6 p.m. at the Pioneer Community Center, our Fall Author Talk series continues with local author Sandi Mueller.
D & D. Dungeons and Dragons takes place the first through fourth Wednesdays each month from 6-8 p.m. For grades 6–12, the group meets in the Community Room below the library. The Siblings & Family group meets in the Pioneer Community Center. Please stop by if interested.
SEED EXCHANGE. Free seed exchange is available in the library. Limit five seed packets per household per week. Contributions are also welcome. Please check with the librarian.
CRAFT TABLE. Visit the kids and adults craft table in the library. New additions are added as the seasons change, holidays happen, and months turn. Come and enjoy at your leisure.
JIGSAW PUZZLE. A jigsaw puzzle is available to be worked on every day at the corner table. Relax, enjoy the quiet, and see how far you can get with the puzzle.
STILL WAITING? The Top 10 Libby ebooks can be a long wait sometimes. We have the physical books on our 'Still Waiting?' book shelf. Come on in and check out the one you want.
WORK SPECIALIST. Wednesdays from 1 – 3 p.m., Diana Zimmerman from Employ Wahkiakum assists job seekers with job searches, resumes, cover letters, and more. Please come on in.
FREE COOKIES. Free cookies are provided Saturdays from 2 – 5 p.m. at the library and Thursdays from 2 – 3 p.m. at Westend Delivery for patrons who order books, DVDs or passes.
BANNED BOOKS. For the entire month of October, and in honor of Banned Books Week, library patrons can check out a previously banned book wrapped in brown paper. These books will be displayed in their respective sections within the library. Banned Books Week was first launched back in 1982 and is an annual reminder that the right to read belongs to all of us.
NOTARY SERVICE. Free notary service is available Thursday and Saturday at 2:30, 3:30, and 4:30 p.m. Please schedule ahead.
LIBRARY CARDS. Cathlamet library cards are free for all Wahkiakum residents. The Cathlamet Public Library is located at 115 Columbia St. and is open Wednesday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 2 – 5 p.m.
