Support for Drew Jenkins

To The Eagle,

I am writing to express my support for Drew Jenkins for the office of Wahkiakum County Assessor. As a new homeowner here back in 2020, Drew was one of the first Cathlamet residents that I met when he came out to inspect our home. Since we had recently relocated from Georgia to the Northwest, I was full of questions! Well, I must have peppered Drew with more than 20 of those questions, ranging from the property tax process to the community at large. Drew patiently answered all of my questions with calm, straight and factual responses and all with a smile! He assured me that we had made the right choice moving to this area and that we would love Cathlamet and its community. He was right! I knew that day, and through further interactions over that past five years, that Drew is a hard-working, pleasant, and very knowledgeable professional. I believe Drew’s seasoned experience is the perfect match for the role of County Assessor. I will be happy to vote for Drew Jenkins!
