Kris Kringle
It’s almost that time again! Time to begin listening for those sleigh bells, watching for Santa’s helpers and just thinking about all the good things that generally happen during the holiday season.
It may be a bit early to start baking cookies and candies or putting up your decorated trees but it’s not too early to think about attending the 1975 Kris Kringle!
Now, don’t tell me that you’ve never heard of the “Kris Kringle.” For those new to the area, it is an annual event which clubs and individuals participate in. It’s a bazaar, a gathering of friends and an all-out effort to put you in the holiday spirit.
This year the theme “Good Old Days” will be carried out at the Puget Island Grange hall on December 6 and 7. Saturday’s hours are from noon to 9 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. Mark it on your calendars and plan to attend.
