To The Eagle,
Support your local fair! Budgets are tight, the fair has been self-supporting but we need your help. We have a big insurance bill coming up, and the county, due to budget constraints, can’t help us. The fair is an all-volunteer organization with a 12-member board and one manager who works less than part-time and has no benefits. We need your support to keep the fair going. Turkey Bingo is this Saturday at the youth building. For prizes there will be frozen turkeys, a raffle table with unique items, and a 50/50 raffle. Food is available. We will auction off two live turkeys to the highest bidders. There will also be a petting zoo for kids and adults. This event will help us continue to put on the crown event: The Wahkiakum County Fair in August of 2026, which will be the 118th year. We’ll see you at Turkey Bingo this Saturday, Nov. 22, at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m., in the Youth Building.
