NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS REGARDING FLUORIDATION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Commissioners of Public Utility District No. One of Wahkiakum County, Washington, will hold public hearings to take public comment and consider whether to continue or discontinue fluoridation of the Cathlamet Water System.

The hearings will be held as follows: Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 8:30 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard; and Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 8:30 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard.

Both hearings will be held in the District meeting room located at 45 River Street, Cathlamet, Washington, and will also be accessible remotely via Zoom. Information for remote attendance may be obtained from the District’s website at https://www.wahkiakumpud.org/board-meetings or by contacting the District at (360) 795-3266.

The hearings will be for the purpose of receiving public comment. The Board does not intend to take final action at either hearing. Written comments may be submitted to the District at cs@wahkiakumpud.org or by mail to P.O. Box 248, Cathlamet, WA 98612 and should be received by April 30, 2026.

Members of the public and customers of the Cathlamet Water System are invited and encouraged to attend and provide comment. Individuals requiring special accommodations should contact the District at (360) 795-3266 at least 48 hours prior to the hearing.
