    Wahkiakum County election officers certified final primary election results last week. In the race for county assessor, Brian McClain leads incumbent Bill Coons 1,021-814. Both ran as Independents. In the race for US Congress, District 3, incumbent Republican Jaime Herrera Beutler tallied 949 votes. Her nearest challenger is Democrat Carolyn Long with 531 votes.
