Wahkiakum County Health and Human Services (WHHS) has set aside time and staff to provide, no appointment necessary, walk-up vaccinations for covid-19. The vaccinations will be available from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday. Wahkiakum County public health officials have set a goal of vaccinating 100 percent of the county's population against covid-19, and they've set a number of clinics to bring vaccinations to various parts of the county. The county Health & Human Services Department (WCHHS) will hold a clinic this Saturday, 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Hope Center in Cathlamet.
