     Alfred Edward Tover passed away February 21, 2013, surrounded by his family at the Hospice Care Center.  He was born August 11, 1934, on Puget Island to Oscar and Dagmar Tover. He grew up in Cathlamet, working on the family farm. He participated in sports at Cathlamet High School and graduated in 1952.  Al served four years in the Navy, stationed in San Diego. He was born to William Gordon Green and Carrie Marie (Burns) Green of Terre Haute, Indiana on November 10, 1929. Stanley graduated from San Diego State University in 1952. On September 1, 1963 he married Marion Francis Dring. He was employed as an Assistant Director at CBS in Los Angeles, California and retired in 1988 after 33 years.
