    Wahkiakum High School senior Peyton Souvenir was named the Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association's 2B Player of the Year on Saturday, March 18, during halftime of the WIBCA 2B vs. 1B All Star Game. Two quarters later, she was named Most Valuable Player in the All Star Game. Every player got to play 16 minutes and Souvenir made the most of her time.     The Wahkiakum Mules baseball team is off to a good start this season with two wins and a loss this week. Last Thursday the team was scheduled to travel, but the wet weather caused poor conditions in Morton, and a decision was made to move the game against Morton/White Pass to Cathlamet.     Initially on Tuesday, the Wahkiakum Mules baseball team didn't let a little rain get in the way of a season starting home game against Pe Ell/Willapa Valley.
