    The winner of the 35th annual Great White Tail Run art contest is Galina Goldinov, a 7th grader at John C. Thomas Middle School. Galina will receive $25 and a shirt with her design.     Instructor Mike Karvia, Assistant Chief of Training in Pacific County, was at the Puget Island Fire Station last Thursday to spend a couple hours working with local volunteer firefighters on improving their roof ventilation skills.
