Organizers of the 4th Annual In-Door Super Sale at Johnson Park Center have issued an invitation for vendors and individuals who wish to participate. The sale will be held March 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is a fund-raiser for Grays River Valley Center at Johnson Park, which is the old Rosburg school building. The Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Crab & Oyster Feed at the Norse Hall on February 18. This will be the 32nd year for this event. The Crab & Oyster Feed is a fundraising event for the Chamber. Funds raised at this dinner help support Bald Eagle Days and the fireworks show, a 35 year Wahkiakum County traditional celebration held the third weekend in July. Lower Columbia College has announced that Tod Marshall will be featured at the January 25 Northwest Voices event in Longview. The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) will accept applications for its Master Hunter Permit Program through Feb. 15. The program is designed to promote safe, lawful and ethical hunting, and to strengthen Washington's hunting heritage and conservation ethic. Steelhead enthusiasts can now show support for their favorite species by purchasing a vehicle license plate with an image of Washington's iconic state fish.
