Great White Tail Runresults are in

The 23rd Annual Great White Tail Run this past Saturday was a great success, despite the cloudy weather.

Sixty-two registered participants ranging in age from 6 to 75 and four young riders in strollers, lots of dogs and young runners tackled the course.

"The Wahkiakum County 4-H Council would like to thank everyone who supported the county 4-H program by participating," said spokesperson, Lore Twiet. "We would also like to thank the following for their donations to the after-run door prize drawing -- Skamokawa Nursery, Skamokawa Landing, Gribskov Glass, Skamokawa Vista Park, Before Sunset, Secret Garden, Golden Ladder, Downtown Gallery, Cathlamet Store, Kim Sharp, Becky Ledtke, Marjorie Watkins, Joni Matthews, Ramona Leber, Georgia Pacific Wauna Mill and Carrie Kennedy of the WSU Food Sense program."

The following results are for the Top Over All and the first three places in each distance and ages represented. The times for all participants will be posted on the WSU Wahkiakum County Extension web site at the request of some of the runners.
