Coming Events--Community Center in Cathlamet

September 28, 2017

Our Free Friday Night Movie this week is “Blade Runner.” It is an adult drama. Movies begin at 7:00 p.m., and free popcorn is provided. You are welcome to bring your own snacks, pizza, etc.

Don’t forget about the Brown Bag Lunch Group that meets every Friday here at the Community Center from 11:00-1:00. It is a nice opportunity to meet new people and enjoy great conversation! All are welcome!

It is with a heavy heart that I announce, for personal reasons, that I will be stepping down as coordinator for the Community Center. I have absolutely loved this position and seeing the Center come back to life and thrive as a true community resource. I want to thank all of my invaluable volunteers and everyone that has helped me with this project. I plan to be as involved in a volunteer capacity to continue growing our Community Center, and will help with the transition of a new coordinator. I would like to leave all of you with this thought: A true Community Center is defined as a “public location where members of the community tend to gather for group activities, social support, public information support and other purposes.” I think we have successfully accomplished this. Let’s keep it going and growing!

Please continue to stop in, say hello and offer your input. We love seeing you!
