The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

Wahkiakum High School runners competed in the Fast and Flat cross country event at Cascade Peak in Randle on Tuesday.

John C. Thomas eighth grader Kaiden Ray took 21st place in the boy’s middle school competition. He ran the 2,500 meter race in 11:21.95.

Representing the Lady Mules, Alexzandria Watkins ran the girl’s 5,000 meter race in 31:04.33 for 33rd place. Her twin, Kimberlee Watkins, took 39th place with a time of 33:44.71.

Results were not posted for the high school boys race.
