Greetings from the fair office. Hope everyone is enjoying the start of October. This is a busy month at the fairgrounds. This Saturday is the monthly Flea Market. We have several vendors. So come out to the fairgrounds and find yourself a treasure. You name it we probably have it. It starts at 9 a.m., and runs till 3 p.m. We still have tables available for $10 each.
Jason and his crew are getting the haunted house ready. If you have some spare time and would like to help him give him a call and he can let you know what time he is out at the fairgrounds. (360-795-0641)
On October 28 we will hold the 5th Annual Halloween Carnival. All proceeds from this event go in to the youth building to get it finished up. It is getting close to being done and is a wonderful event building.
As some of you may know we received a grant from WSDA for bleachers. I would like to thank the commissioners for helping with the 7th set of them. When they get here we are gonna need lots of help putting them together so if you would like to volunteer watch this column for info to follow.
All premium checks have been mailed and need to be cashed by November 1, so don't forget to cash it when you get it.
Don't forget to mark your calendar for November 16 for Turkey Bingo.
