What's happening at the Fair?

March 10, 2022

Greetings from the fair office. Hope everyone had a wonderful week. We will start with lots of fundraising events soon. Here are some dates to mark on your calendar. This Saturday, March 12 is the monthly Flea Market starting at 9 a.m. and going until 3. We have some new vendors coming in this month so come on down and grab a treasure or two. April is a really busy month at the fairgrounds. We will have the flea market on April 9. Tables are available for $10 at all flea markets. Call the office if you are interested in one, 360-795-3480. Then on April 15 is Easter Bingo. Come on out and play bingo, win some prizes and visit with friends. Then on April 16 the Lions Club will hold its Easter Egg Hunt in the morning and the Fair Foundation will have their Easter Carnival and Egg Hunt later in the day. As we move into May things start getting more busy. We will have the monthly flea market on May 14 as well as a clean up day at the fairgrounds.

Then on June 4 get ready for the 3rd Annual "Cruzin to the Fair Car Show." If you entered last year your registration will be coming out in the mail next week. This year we will award trophies and plaques in all classes and we have some new classes: Motorcycles and Tractors. If you did not enter last year and would like to do so you can call the office and I will get back to you or email at wahkiakumfair@gmail.com and I will email you the registration form. Anyone who would like to sponsor this event may do so by calling the office or emailing me. We are also looking for vendors for the day. Call or email the office if you would like to be a vendor.

The fair is August 18, 19 and 20 this year and the fair theme is "Tractor Wheels And Cowboy Heels." As always we will have three days of fun. Watch the fair facebook page for entertainment updates.

We are looking for fair royalty. Anyone interested should call the office. We have two age groups this year. A Junior princess/prince age 8 - 12 and a Senior princess/prince 13 -19.

Hope to see everyone at the flea market this weekend.
