With your midterm ballots coming soon, please think about how important this election is for preserving our democracy. Historically Wahkiakum County led Washington State in voting with the highest turnouts, unfortunately we have slipped in recent years.

Your vote is important! In order to not be ruled by a minority of voters you must turn in your ballot to have your voice heard. Apathy is unacceptable in voting, as Americans we must exercise our votes. The number of people who gave up their lives to preserve your ability to vote is incalculable. So let’s respect their sacrifices by taking the time to vote it is important; Vote!
