The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

Kenneth Jerald Anderson, beloved son and brother, passed away peacefully at his mother’s home on the sixth day of October, 2023 after a long battle with cancer.

Ken was born to Terry and Don Anderson on October 24, 1960 in Grand Rapids, MN.

Ken grew upin Skamokawa, WA, attended Skamokawa Grade School and Wahkiakum High School. Class of 1979. After high school Ken attended Phoenix institute of Technology, then Washington State University. He settled in Scottsdale, AZ, where he was a real estate broker and owner of Hohokam Realty for 40 years.

Ken traveled extensively, loved hiking, fishing, kayaking, with his nieces and nephews and uncle. He also was a painter and photographer.

Ken was preceded in death by his father and brothers, Tim and Jason. He is survived by his mother Terry and stepfather Howard Cook, sisters Lori Mansker (Larry), Lisa Brill (Bill), numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, and uncles.

A private graveside service will be held for family at Fernhill Cemetary.
