Family Center fundraising

To The Eagle,

I want to thank all of the people and businesses who continue to show support for St. James Family Center. So far SJFC has raised $28,000 toward our Forty for Forty fundraising goal. In the next few weeks you will see more opportunities to help us meet our goal. Look for our Annual Christmas Basket raffle. We will be at the Puget Island Gardens Market, the Cathlamet Tree Lighting Ceremony, the Rivermile 38 Holiday Market, in front of the Cathlamet Market, or you can contact any board member. Tickets are $1 each. Place your tickets in the jars corresponding to the baskets you like. The drawings for all baskets will be December 8.

January 31, 2026 will be our final fundraiser for this campaign. St. James Family Center will host an Anniversary Gala at the Little Island Creamery. This evening of timeless elegance will include a light supper, wine or beer ticket, dancing, silent auction, dessert auction, and a cash bar. Dinner music is provided by Andrew Emlen. Dance music by ten piece band, The Funk Junkies, Emcee, Andrew Weiler. Tickets are $40 each, or $280 for a table of 8.

Thanks again for your support. Today, more than ever, most families rely on all parents working. Having safe, reliable childcare is a necessity, and knowing that your child is in trained, capable, and caring hands allows you to focus on your workday. Employees and employers all recognize that need. We can also all recognize the vital services provided by St. James Family Center.

SJFC Board Member
