Get ready to usher in the holiday season with the spectacular and much-anticipated Annual Christmas Lighted Parade in Cathlamet!
Join your friends and neighbors for a festive evening filled with dazzling lights, creative floats, and holiday cheer. This beloved tradition, which takes place Saturday, Nov. 29 at 5 p.m., is the perfect way to kick off the most wonderful time of the year.
The parade route will start at the Elochoman Marina and wind its way through downtown Cathlamet. Find a cozy spot along Main Street to enjoy the parade. We encourage early arrival to secure the best viewing spots and enjoy the festive atmosphere, shop the small businesses, and stay for the tree lighting and arrival of Santa.
Please note that street closures along the parade route will be in effect starting at 4:30 p.m. Please plan your travel accordingly. We encourage local businesses, organizations, families, and individuals to join the parade. Show off your holiday spirit by decorating a float, vehicle, or even yourselves.
To participate, complete the entry form and decorate your entry with as many lights as possible. Participants should gather at the designated staging area at the marina no later than 4:15 p.m. Details are available upon registration.
The entry fee is $5. First responders and veterans are free of charge. Parade entry forms can be found at Bank of the Pacific, downloaded from our Facebook page @wahkiakumlightedchristmasparade or by contacting us at wahparade@gmail.com. Come out and celebrate the start of the holiday season with us!
