The Wahkiakum County Marine Resources Committee (MRC) is accepting Round 2 Proposals for marine related projects within Wahkiakum County to help protect and maintain healthy marine habitats and resources in the lower Columbia River Estuary. Project proposals can be submitted by individuals, groups, or organizations. Projects must occur between July 1, 2026 and May 31, 2027. For funding information and an Application Packet, please contact Grants and Office Coordinator Shari Parker, shari.parker@wsu.edu or call the WSU Extension Office at 360-795-3278. A Letter of Intent is required by April 15, 2026. After acceptance, Grant Applications must be received by 3:00 PM on June 11th, 2026 for consideration.
