To The Eagle: In light of the upcoming Cathlamet Downhill Corral this weekend, I want to say thank you to the people involved in raising money for the women's podium - not only for this year, but for last year as well. Encouraging women to come out and compete is so crucial for the development of the skateboarding community, and I appreciate that the residents of Cathlamet are so extremely...

To The Eagle: To the person or persons who vandalized and trashed the four mailboxes over the weekend of August 8 across from Fern Hill Road. Out of those four mailboxes, mine was the only one being used. The others are not being used because two neighbors are deceased and the other has moved. My question to you is this: What have I done to you that you would vandalize and trash our mailboxes? Where did you trash our mailboxes to? If you have any type of remorse or compassion in your heart, you would apologize to me face to face and replace my...

SPECIAL DAYS--Those celebrating birthdays from August 13-19 are Tim Schmitz, Jessica Scheik, Judy Smith, Kathleen Morgain, Steve McClain, Addy Hauff, Tyna Zink, Kassy Burdic...
