    The Morton/White Pass Timberwolves handed the Wahkiakum Mules a 12-0 loss late Friday in Central League football. The Timberwolves took a 6-0 lead at 9:07 of the second quarter.     The Adna Pirates showed they merit their high early season ranking as they tore apart the Wahkiakum Mules 39-14 in their first game on their new field last Friday. The Pirates scored three first quarter touchdowns and piled up 158 rushing yards and 27 yards as they took a commanding 20-0 lead.     Central Youth Baseball 10 year old Allstars completed their season with an outstanding state tournament in Kelso. The boys finished in third place with wins over top seeded Kennewick teams.     Light effort and catch so far allowed Oregon and Washington managers to extend on June 23 the white sturgeon season below Wauna on the lower Columbia River despite concerns about the population status of the big fish.     Wahkiakum Mules Blaine Land and Brett Chaput and Naselle Comet Rob Baker returned with medals from the Class2B State Track and Field Meet last Friday and Saturday at Eastern Washington University, Cheney.     With an estimated 200 fans, friends and family in attendance, 13 former athletes and a coach were inducted into the Wahkiakum Mules Hall of Fame Saturday evening. The inaugural event, hosted by the Wahkiakum Coaches Association, raised nearly $6000 for the athletic department.     Members of the Wahkiakum High School Coaches Association have decided to create a Mules Hall of Fame to honor athletes and coaches who have participated in Mule athletics over the years. The first members will be inducted this May. Two events are planned around the induction to raise funds to support Mule athletic programs.     Three ocean beaches opened this week for a razor clam dig that could be the last dig of the season. Morning digs are set on two beaches, Long Beach and Twin Harbors, for six straight days, May 3-8. Mocrocks Beach, which extends north from the Copalis River to the southern boundary of the Quinault Indian Reservation, will also be open for razor-clam digging May 7-8.
