The Cathlamet Public Library will reopen on Saturday, February 22. The Open House Celebration, from 2-4 p.m., will rededicate the newly remodeled library. The library was moved to a temporary location last summer so that work could begin at the City Hall location. A new group is forming in Wahkiakum County to support healthy living. The first meeting of the “For Your Health” support group will be held Thursday, February 27, at 6:30 p.m. in the River Street Meeting Room, 25 River Street, Cathlamet. The Grays River Methodist Church Friendship Circle’s Stew Luncheon and Bazaar will be held February 22. Hearty beef stew, delectable cheese bread, beverages and dessert will be served in the Grays River Methodist Church social hall.
