    WOW! It is the middle of October already; if you haven't cashed your fair premium check please do so as soon as possible, as they are void after 45 days. Soon the fairgrounds will be very spooky. Jason Rainey and his crew are putting the haunted house together. Soon the flyers will be up and around town.     It was a somewhat quiet affair as a group of 4-H Leaders and a few of the current participants had an open house for the program on Saturday at the fairgrounds in Skamokawa. Other 4-H'ers were in Grays River, busily setting up for the annual Covered Bridge Dinner that would take place later that night.
