Jerry Oliver Hogan, 91, of Cathlamet, died November 30, 2022 in a Hillsboro Oregon Hospital. He was born July 6, 1931 in Los Angeles to Robert and Georgianna (Rands) Hogan. He graduated from high school in Salt Lake City in 1948 and joined the US Navy.

After serving in the Navy he married Kathleen on October 20, 1955. They lived in Pleasanton, CA for many years where he worked for AT&T as an Engineer Manager. After retirement, in 1990, he and Kathleen moved to Cathlamet where he enjoyed computers, chess, his family and the Ham Radio Club. He was active in the Republican Party and a longtime member of the LDS Church. Kathleen preceded him in 2013.

Jerry is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Grace and Paul Kraft; two sisters Susan Stone and Carol Griffiths; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 10 at 10 a.m., at the Cathlamet Branch of the LDS Church. Dowling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
