Why are the name changes an issue now?

To The Eagle:

As the kids say today, OMG! How far do we have to go to become politically correct? My uncle lived his whole life at Brookfield.

I have fond memories of traveling by boat from Kelso to visit him. My uncle spent many days walking through the Jim Crow watershed as have I. There was never a bad comment made about the Jim Crow creek name or the association with James Saules. I see the Jim Crow naming as a tribute to James Saules.

Actions and reactions like this will go down in history with the multiple restrooms required for all of the sex identifiers. Both were non-issues and why are they now? Some people can't have fun without stirring the pot!
