DRIED UP--After a thunder storm last Friday night that brought pounding rain to our area, along with some breezy conditions, it was nice to have things start to dry up a bit, as I think we were all getting webbed feet from all the rain we've had. Here at our house, we had over 20 inches of rain for the month of January so it was definitely a wet beginning to our new year! This week began with lots of sunshine though and that meant getting outside and doing some of those chores before the next band of rain comes through, so I hope you managed th...

The dredge, which the port purchased from Rose City Yacht Club, cost $20,000. Port Manager Jackie Lea believes that additional work and equipment may cost another...

MIXTURE--At the end of last week, we saw wind, rain, heavier rain and hail, mixed up with dashes of sunshine and rainbows. MIXTURE--While we had a mostly dry day last Friday, with only one fairly short burst of rain, it was definitely a drippy wet and gloomy Saturday morning around here. However, we saw quite a bit of sunshine Sunday and Monday, so that was quite nice. Considering there was a massive winter storm hitting the eastern part of the country, with record snowfall and blizzard conditions, we really couldn't complain much about our dampness at all. Besides the snow virtually closing down some cities and all public transportation, some areas along the coast...
