    Wahkiakum High School senior Cody Olsen was recently awarded the WIBCA 2B Basketball Player of The Year. The award was presented at the 2010 All-state Game played at Mountlake Terrace High School, Everett.     Wahkiakum Mule athlete Brett Chaput, a sophomore, won the discus competition and set a new meet record with a throw of 144 feet at the Rainier Ice Breaker Meet Saturday.
