The Mules will make up the game on Saturday, 3 p.m. The Wahkiakum Lady Mules were scheduled to play last night (Wednesday) at Winlock, but that game was cancelled.     January 7 found the Mules wrestling team competing in two different tournaments. The majority of the team went across to Coulee City to wrestle at the ACH tournament. A few of the Mule wrestlers stayed home to compete at the Kelso’s JV & Lady’s tournament.     The Mules displayed one of their best all-around performances of the year last Wednesday night in their 64-32 rout of the Napavine Tigers.   • Fund drive under way for wrestling singlets

    The Wahkiakum Wrestling Club has started a drive to raise funds from the community to purchase new singlets for Wahkiakum Mule wrestlers. The team has 16 wrestlers but club members are looking to purchase around 20 singlets to allow for weight class variation and team growth. "The singlets in use now have seen quite a few seasons and are showing the wear," said club spokesperson Suzanne Mackey. "Each singlet would cost about $75, so our goal is to raise $1,500.
