The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) is offering anglers opportunities for tight lines rather than long lines on the day after Thanksgiving. The "holiday specials" include thousands of large trout averaging 15 to 16 inches in length and weighing up to three pounds. Members of the Sons of Norway invite all children 10 years and younger to a Christmas party to be held at the Norse Hall from 2-4 p.m. on December 1. The hall is located on Puget Island, 144 SR 409.
