    Horizons: Wahkiakum County has scheduled an Action Forum for this upcoming Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the Skamokawa Methodist Church. Snacks and free childcare will be provided by the Church for all who attend.     Wahkiakum County officials are meeting weekly to address the funding and future of the Wahkiakum Family Practice Clinic. When former owner PeaceHealth announced plans three years ago to close the Cathlamet office because it wasn't profitable, Wahkiakum County officials developed a plan to purchase and operate it.     The Washington State Department of Transportation has awarded a contract to stabilize a slope just east of Stella at Milepost 50.9 on SR 4. DOT engineer Denys Tak said March 6 that WSDOT has awarded contract to Wilder Construction Company of Bellingham. The company hopes to start work by March 19, if not sooner, Tak said. She and her husband Larry raised foster children along with their two biological children, caring for more than 100 foster children over the years and adopting four girls. Applicants Joan Connell and Allen Francisco are planning Hidden Creek I subdivision near the intersection of Elochoman Valley and Beaver Creek roads.
